The idea for this music video was to capture the flair of the song using original photography shot in Cuba and a flowing movement inspired by the addictive melody. We relied on the strong compositions in each photograph and used a parallax technique (originally pioneered by our studio) to bring the photos to life.

1976 appeared in numerous film festivals and music video compilations. It was also the first video ever to be featured on MTV.com, and one of the first downloadable music video on iTunes, with over a million YouTube views.
